Tracking the light can reveal many things about ones level
of understanding, light itself is not limited to just the physical phenomena, we see it in many aspects of human consciousness.
Light is like a focal point the further we go into it, the brighter and more focused it will become. Balance and positioning is essential, the light should always be
center stage, illuminating both sides of the pendulum arc.
Unfortunately we have a tendency to place the light where we are most interested,
thereby missing the rest of the picture so to speak. I speak metaphorically some of the time, for the hopeful purpose of greater understanding. We miss so much in this
high paced, yet short in duration film called life, yet it was never intended to be this way.
We rarely live in the moment and see what is really happening,
mainly because the light of our consciousness is misplaced. We place it to the right, to the left, above or below, but never in the centre. So we get a distorted image
that narrows in focus, only leaving what we wish to see in the moment.
If one was interested in the breaking light at the dawn of the day, it would be useless to
face west, because one was habituated to facing west.
Facing west, one would only see the sunset, a more sombre occasion in my opinion.
When facing the Sun, we place the light centre stage, then everything surrounding us
is illuminated. We then become aware of our position and relationship to all other manifestations, at the particular level of consciousness we possess.
In the art of Ninjutsu, a potential candidate is first taught
to become highly aware of his or her surroundings. If he or she fails to reach a certain degree of proficiency, there is no further training.
In enlightenment the
art of Ninjutsu is part of the first way, mastery over ones moving / instinctive centre.
The second way,
that of the enlightened emotional man or woman, is most evident through artistic expression. We can see this in fine works of art where the creator touches us in some way,
beyond the pale or the casual mundane.
The third way, is that of the enlightened intellectual man or woman.
In some way they have reached far beyond the external sensual reality
of empirical data, proposing theories that can't be easily proven, nor denied.
Dr Amit Goswami, Ph.D. is a very good modern day example.
These are the three traditional ways listed above, they co-inside with what type of man or woman one has become during this incarnation or recurrence.
They are the ways of the "Good householder", requiring many lifetimes for successful ascension.
The fourth way, little know and rarely manifesting, is the way of balanced man. This is the way of non identified consciousness, where elements of
the three traditional ways are practiced, in conjunction with a greater degree of "self remembering".
It is also known as the way
of the "sly" man or woman, who will create difficulties where none exist, in order to learn more about their present being and their potential evolution.
It is considered to be the fastest way "home".
All of these ways are about raising ones level of being. They go beyond "mechanical" consciousness, choosing the food of "positive" emotions and thoughts,
rather than the negative ones. They are the way of creating greater light within, while placing oneself in proper humble relationship to that light.
The question now is, how do you see yourself in that light, and, what do you hope to accomplish in this life...
"Self Remembering" is the Key..."
"Simply put, know ---> thyself and, nothing too much..."
"The ability to see clearly, is commensurate with the ability to think clearly"
