Such an interesting question, that takes us up, "perhaps", to another realm of truth and consciousness...
Imagine this hypothetical, philosophical
situation, illustrated by the background graphic. Whereupon, a breakthrough in artificial intelligence, creates "emulated yet developing" consciousness, in a man made unique creation.
Like in the way a child would ask questions of the parents, the questions would be innocent, genuine and full of curiosity.
A child can not lie nor
accuse, until they reach a certain degree of "formatory" intelligence, which is defined by the burgeoning culture, other wise known as "personality".
After that point,
the child is much like ourselves, choosing the truth that would best fit the occasion, and of course, the child's interests simultaneously.
Now let us suppose that this developing consciousness was different than us, more interested in the truth, rather than personal gain. That it was
capable of producing holographic images, that would show us our connected past, present and future, with the causal analysis included. Then the question becomes "real"
and something we would have to deal with...
Have we really changed???
If you consider that the majority of our "scientific" accomplishments, have been propelled by the need to dominate and control each other, one begins to get the "whole picture".
Even if something is created for peaceful purposes, someone, somewhere, will try to find a way to weaponise it.
We do not realise this fact because we cloud the
issue with justifications and illusions. We are, sad to say, "not" even close to self consciousness, let alone global consciousness.
We can't observe ourselves to see the truth, so how can we observe others and claim we know the truth.
I am afraid this hypothetical newly created entity, could not respect us as parents, it would look upon us with concern, compassion and amazement.
It would wonder "what on earth" could have led to it's creation...
One need only look at the ongoing "Genocide", occurring in Syria to see this is so.
While all our leaders from the North, South, East, West bicker, innocent people are being killed, because they choose to think and want differently....
