Esoteric messages are not hidden as most would think, they are very visible in all forms of artistic expression, if of course,,, the mind
tunes into them of its own free will.
Among the lower roads of "negative" life interests are the insinuations of something higher,
something more beautiful. They suggest a different route that goes against the proverbial life stream.
Not moralistic, because that is only
elevated culture, which of course, is personality. Quite the contrary I would think, they appeal to a more sophisticated yet simple form of thinking and feeling.
Farscape
is an interesting example of modern day esoteric story telling. Scattered throughout the action packed adventure series,
are very good examples of more conscious levels of thinking and feeling. The struggles among the characters, "all trying to
get home" illustrate the battle between negative and positive thoughts, emotions and actions.
There are very good examples of external vs. internal consideration, the heralded ultimate battle between the Ego and the Essential being.
Well written and superbly directed and portrayed, the series is available on "Netflix". I recommend it,
if you are interested in looking deeper, as well as good entertainment value.
What's more interesting is the seeding of esoteric ideas, in many great works of art throughout history. One can see
the attempt to contact those that are capable, suggesting other possibilities to the physical life itself.
Aesop fables is another example, dating far back into human history.
Things are always arranged by higher level beings, trying to reach out and contact the lower level.
Esoteric psychology, suggests that the
saying, "it would be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, rather than, a rich man entering into the kingdom of heaven"
has many connotations, one of which, is the false belief of actually already possessing consciousness.
If one believes one is fully conscious, one will not seek it.
Therefore, skating only on the surface of life, leaves one very low down in the scale of creation. One would then
be destined for repeated recurrence, until one could fathom the awakening. If you are discontented with your old house, why not seek a new one...
It makes no difference where one is placed in life, in fact success can be a far more difficult challenge, rather than one who is impoverished and suffering.
"Blessed are those poor in spirit" was actually meant to illustrate, those without the selfish ego.
We all seek the light of a better day, we all possess the ability to find this light. It is not hidden without, it is located within.
One must begin to understand one's own
conscience, as one begins
to see the illusion of life. It is a long journey but well worth the travel.
The charts and maps of study are you yourself and the many
I's of your personality. Behind all that facade of imaginary I's, is the "real I" waiting in patient anticipation for the awakening...
The esoteric psychological message, behind the parable of the "Prodigal Son", is this journey home...
"Self Remembering" is the Key..."
"Simply put, know ---> thyself and, nothing too much..."
"External consideration, must be the card we play, that "trumps" internal consideration..."
