The visual use of an anvil, has a very interesting interpretive aspect, usually if not predominately indicating that hard work lies ahead. A very basic ancient tool
used to reshape raw materials into something different, yet at the same time useful...
Transformation is the primal objective of nature, everything transforms
into something other than the original shape, size or purpose.
The human body for example, changes and adapts through time, fulfilling the role it was created to perform, then
eventually disintegrating into "oblivion".
I use the word "oblivion" which basically means forgotten, not destroyed.
We fail to understand this concept with the rather limited senses we possess. Everything is a circle which eventually comes around full circle. Repetition and recurrence
are natural parts of creation and life itself. A little objective observation will prove this is true, even in the midst of ones own life. Death is a doorway
that leads to another doorway. After the death of the body, the raw materials are then used for something other than what was previously created.
We live in a very economically charged, extremely well run Universe, where everything has multiple purposes and nothing is
squandered. The material fuel for this huge machine of creation, is finite to "Greater Mind", yet infinite to our limited perspective minds.
We are but an inconsequential flash or spark of infinitesimally minimal duration, as compared to the life of the Galaxies, Stars and Planets.
The interesting aspect though, we come from two very different places.
Part of us is created below and part descends from above. If we consider the matrimonial bed the anvil for the creation of the body,
then the process of descent and unification begins at the moment of birth. What descends from above is "essential" and lives outside the life
of the body.
By our standards this essential part is immortal, the unification of the body and the essence is the Catalyst for increased consciousness.
Increased consciousness activates a transition to a higher state, where a degree of increased self awareness results from self remembering. Conceivably once a certain
level of awareness is reached, the essence would reside at a higher level of existence and therefore, no longer obligated to experience life at the level of the earth.
This idea of conscious evolution, is evident in many systems of spiritual, religious and theosophical studies.
The greater understanding does not come from a study of dogma,
it comes from a study of oneself. There are schools that have existed throughout time, their whole "reason for being", to provide conditions where one can work on oneself.
Ascension on the evolutionary "scala" is an individual experience, a good teacher will provide the necessary means for one to work on oneself, but they will not force you.
To force someone is actually violence. Violence is the anti thesis to consciousness.
So another "Anvil is required and this one must be forged in the growing awareness of self.
It will exist in ones own consciousness and be that private place where one works on oneself. A place where one reshape's the definition of "I", casting those many
falsehoods into oblivion...
Making of the first body is easy, the real work comes from the formation of the second body and beyond. The work only has two rules,
"You have a right not to be negative" "You have a right to know yourself"...
The esoteric psychological message, behind the parable of the "Prodigal Son", is this journey home...
"Self Remembering is the Key..."
"Simply put, know ---> thyself and, nothing too much..."
"External consideration, must be the card we play, that "trumps" internal consideration..."
