We begin another year of growth, as it always should be... Life was not meant for stagnation
it was meant for evolution.
Welcome to all who stumbled into my little corner of the universe.
I go by the pseudonym "Esoman" I am a follower of George Gurdjieff's fourth way system.
Although I must say, I am more inclined to favour the writings and interpretation of P.D. Ouspensky
and his follower Maurice Nicoll.
Creative visual expression is one of my passions, as such, you will notice that I change the make up of my graphic musings very regularly and sometimes, very often.
At each interval, I try to raise the level of energizing impressions, to go along with the mystical pondering's that I crave and of course, so much enjoy.
I am a self taught multi medium visual artist, learning at every occasion, new and exciting techniques of visual expression.
Most of my creations are visual
collages, using portions of freely available, incredibly creative imagery, found on the Internet. I then incorporate my own digital manipulation skills and vector illustration techniques.
I also maintain a commercial site where I make a modest living.
I
share these pages and images freely, while maintaining a free gallery on Flickr.
I have a current slide show page
of all the background imagery, where you can see the latest and greatest, at the click of a mouse. Each and every image will have a story to go along with the visual.
Now on to the "mesoteric" story...
I am and have been many things in my life time, some nice, some not so nice. In my journey I have found that it's not the goal
that is important, it is the path we took to get there. The key is the degree of self awareness that one begins to acquire, that is of course, if one "works".
It begins
with self observation both in the moment (Most difficult) and retrospectively. Normally we all think that we are completely
conscious beings, self aware at every moment of our lives, save when actually physically sleeping.
This is the great illusion
spoken about in many systems of self study. We are actually machines, that react to external influences according to programming.
The programming is different depending on where and how you were physically raised up. Culture is personality...
There once was a time we could communicate directly with higher level beings, we lost that ability through laziness and the
quest for self greatness.
In my personal journey, I have been, felt, tasted, heard and seen, many ideas, doctrines, systems and, manifestations.
I am more a jack of all trades having many irons in the fire, I prefer it that way.
At this point in my life, I wish to share the ideas and knowledge, that "experience" has taught me. Maybe it will help you in your personal
journey, then in turn, maybe you can help me in mine.
We are all "naked" in the eyes of greater mind, it is only illusions
which we put on, in the form of attitudes and imagination, that keep us supple, compliant and fast asleep. The sleep I am describing is more dangerous than any external threat,
and can be considered the eternal living enemy.
It has many names and tricks up its sleeves, all designed to render one compliant to each and every thought,
emotion and action. Called "Legion" by some, it is formed primarily from life and personality, with the devious aim of controlling our own consciousness.
Life makes us that way, yet we have the possibility to be different on many scales.
There are many ways to enlightenment, all different
in style and quality. We must remember that we are the pilots of this vehicle known as "I", therefore we should not give over control of it's flight path, to the passengers.
The passengers of course, are the many "I's" of personality, if you have not seen them yet, maybe it's high time you do...

These pages can be bookmarked, however the blog page will act as the index (home) page and contact platform.
If you were following us before, you will notice that our presentation format has, as we like to call it, "evolved". As with every closet, garage, basement etc. a major clean out and
refresh is required. With this in mind, I clear out older posts to make room for the newer ones. We begin afresh every year making effort to study and refresh oneself
as much as "humanly" possible. The ideas remain fixed, but the approach to them can be as varied and different, as there are stars in the heavens.
